Joana Sus Joins NOMINT's Director Roster

Dear gorgeous friends,

The creative universe recently opened a small portal and dropped someone extraordinary into our orbit.  We're talking about the original craft goddess herself, Joana Sus: illustrator, animator, art director, and general wielder of beautiful stuff.  We're thrilled to welcome her to the NOMINT roster. 

Our paths crossed on NOMINT's recent Indeed project. You know, the 960-frame odyssey we printed, had Joana hand-paint, scanned, rebuilt, and mailed across continents in a mad dash to Indeed's FutureWorks Conference?  Yeah, that one.  

Joana arrived quietly, like all mighty forces do, and within days her brilliant work was reshaping the entire film. Operating at a thrilling pace the rest of us could only spectate, she was also nothing short of prolific.

Naturally, we immediately began plotting her long-term capture.

Joana's background across editorial, fashion, and animation gives her an intuitive sense for pacing, composition, and visual storytelling. Her style is instantly recognisable. It's textured, analogue warmth paired with clean, contemporary motion. She builds characters that feel authentic and emotionally legible and her work scales seamlessly from small animated loops to full narrative pieces, always maintaining that signature hand-made craft quality.

We're pretty partial, what can we say.

Anyway, we're relieved Joana agreed to join us without bolting.  We had to suppress our crazy-eyed enthusiasm, obviously, so as not to startle her.
