Across two consecutive Christmases, we worked with the Kansas City Chiefs to build a holiday tradition for one of the most-followed teams in America. The Emmy-winning campaign has reshaped how the franchise speaks to its fans through the holiday season.

The ambition was to connect with fans beyond the game, using storytelling to capture the warmth and humour of the season.

Across two holiday films, Hail Merry (2024) and Merry Mischief (2025), NOMINT director Dario Imbrogno brought the Chiefs’ world to life through claymation.

Hail Merry won an Emmy and Merry Mischief became the most-viewed post of any NFL club account that season.

Merry Mischief returns to the Chiefs’ handcrafted universe with a playful, mischievous holiday narrative. This time, the calm of the festive season is disrupted by unexpected antics that ripple through the miniature world, turning everyday traditions into moments of surprise and delight. Full of character and charm, the film leans into comedy and movement, using tactile animation to celebrate joy, connection, and the shared rituals of the holidays—inviting fans to laugh, re-watch, and feel part of the celebration.
